2021 year-end campaign
|
I want to share the story of one of our mentor-mentee pairings. The mentee, a local non-profit leader, shares about her experience with her mentor:
On a regular basis I find myself recommending Atlas to many people. Earlier this year I found myself facing several unexpected life challenges, each one calling me to fill roles I had never filled before. It was in this time that I finally understood the value of Atlas. I reached out to the Atlas staff to see if they could connect me with a mentor who had some shared life experiences. My time with my mentor has been such a blessing. What God knew and I didn’t was that there was one more challenge coming. My mentor and I turned out to be the perfect fit. Although we are early in our time together, I am so grateful for her insight, wisdom and incredible relationship with God. There is no greater blessing than knowing someone has walked through a similar experience and can speak from a place of knowing. My mentor not only understands the struggle, but the difficulty of the journey and the blessing waiting on the other side. You helped us meet our goal of $13,500 in 2020. We cannot thank you enough. Today, we embark on our 2021 Year-End Campaign. Our goal is to continue providing relational support to our neighbors through mentorship by raising $20,000 by December 31, but we can’t do it without your help. |
Would you be willing to make a contribution to the work God is doing through Atlas? With your support, we can impact the lives of our neighbors in lasting ways.
